Overview of Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws is a third-person actionadventure game. The player controls the antagonist Weiss (voiced by Hemberly Gonzalez), who travels through an open-world environment, including planets and space, engaging in various activities. Kay can use environmental factors, such as exploding traps, to her advantage. Kay has the Adrenaline ability, which charges during combat and deals damage over time, allowing you to shoot at marked targets. She can also perform sneak attacks to stun or knock out enemies. Kay's weapons include a shovel and an electronic control device. Her companion, a small creature named Nix, can scan the environment, interact with objects, and stun or attack enemies.

The player navigates the skies of planets in a speedboat and travels between planets in a ship called the Trailblazer. The player can explore the orbits of planets and galaxies, as well as engage in space combat with the ship's weapons, including lasers and missiles. Space stations provide trading services and other missions. By completing tasks in the game, the player earns coins that can be used to purchase and upgrade items.

As the game progresses, the player can upgrade the Blaster, Speeder, and Trailblazer, as well as upgrade Kay and Nix's abilities. Players can gain new skills and upgrades by finding specialists and completing their tasks.

In Outlaws, the player faces four factions: the Ishiga Alliance, the Green Lantern, the Hutt Alliance, and the Pike Alliance. The player's decisions and actions directly affect Kay's reputation. The prestige of charitable deeds is very high. Similarly, negative reputation can cause units to send mercenaries to protect the unit. The game features a six-stage quest system, based on the Imperial forces' obsession with finding K in the aftermath of the events he has committed.
