Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a first-person shooter video game created by Danger Close Games and published by Electronic Arts. The gameplay in Warfighter introduces several new elements compared to its predecessor. Features from the earlier installment, such as the ability to peak and lean, request ammunition (now available in unlimited quantities), and slide, have returned. Additionally, new gameplay mechanics in the campaign, including the Dynamic Door Breach and micro-destruction, have been incorporated. The single-player campaign centers on the experiences of Tier 1 operators and takes players through various locations, including Bosnia, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Somalia. Players assume the roles of Preacher from Task Force Blackbird and Stump from Task Force Mako. Notably, the multiplayer component of Medal of Honor: Warfighter was not developed by EA Digital Illusions CE, the studio that previously contributed to the multiplayer aspects of the Medal of Honor series.
